Industrial Screen Printing
Industrial Silk Screen Printing (or just screen printing) provides versatile and practical options for identifying, labeling, and decorating manufactured products. Specialty Screen Printing works with Oregon and U.S.-based manufacturers to provide custom screen printing for a variety of OEM products for both commercial and retail markets.
Screen Printing for Specialized Industrial Applications
Product Story:
Ever Print a Swimming Pool Pump?
No, we really didn’t print the entire pump, but an area manufacturer asked if Specialty Screen Printing could help with printing and labels for a new line of swimming pool pumps. We worked with them to determine the best options, which included a combination of labels and direct-to-product printing. The connector cover was printed in white ink on .060 mil black styrene sheets and then die-cut to the finished shape. Specialty Screen Printing provided five components for the production process, including cover plates, specialty labels, and roll labels that could be easily applied.
What Specialty Screen Printing can do for you
Direct-To-Product Screen Printing
For short or custom product runs, it’s frequently possible to screen print after some or all of the fabrication has been done. Specialty Screen Printing can create a jig or frame to position the product during the printing process. We’re able to print on flat surfaces as large as 24” x 30”. Direct-to-product screen printing is available for a range of materials including powder-coated metals, steel, glass, and plastics. See the list of printable materials and substrates included on this page.
Screen Printing on Parts or Components
Screen printing on parts or components is typically more cost-effective for long runs or when direct-to-product printing isn’t practical. Specialty Screen Printing can configure for medium to long runs of component parts. We can also deliver in stages or just-in-time to meet your production needs with printed parts packaged according to your specifications.
Screen Printed Decals and Labels
Product labeling is a practical option for curved or shaped objects or when the labels need to be applied during the production run. Specialty Screen Printing will work with you to define the specifications for your application. Custom labels can be screen printed on a variety of substrates with removable or permanent adhesives. Laminates or specialty finishes can be added for protection, easy identification, or to provide a unique appearance.
Pressure sensitive vinyl or polyester provides a cost-effective option for many label applications. Specialty Screen Printing can also provide second surface printing for two sided window labels or window clings.
